The Old Outhouse Door Project.
Well, here it is, the old outhouse door. This door was likely made in the 1950's and graced the outhouse on my parents' property for many years. I rescued it several years ago, and carried it inside a storage building for safe keeping.
Who would have thought this door from the past could possibly arrive on the world wide web! Yet, here it is, in all its glory! Fantastic. I plan to paint this old outhouse door. I'm leaning towards a painting of the outhouse and surounding scenery, with its grapevines, field and trees.
In any event, I plan to get at it, soon. I apologise for my slow start on this, but so many other things have been happening in my life. Please visit occasionally, as I'll be posting photos as the painting progresses -- likely in late winter, or the spring of 2006. It'll be a fun and interesting adventure! In the end, I should have a unique, one-of-a-kind creation.
